Hair micropigmentation

In Brief.

Hair micropigmentation, also known as tricopigmentation or Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), is an innovative, non-surgical technique that recreates the illusion of density or a natural shaved head, by implanting micropigments into the superficial layer of the scalp. It offers a long-lasting, effective alternative for people suffering from hair loss, whatever the cause.

At Dana Dermo, we offer high-quality services, the fruit of reference training courses in France and South Korea. Our method is based on perfect mastery of the gesture, high-quality pigments and a personalized approach for immediate, subtle and harmonious results. This technique is suitable for both men and women, and can be an alternative or a complement to a hair transplant.

Each service is designed to respond precisely to different types of hair loss, whether diffuse, localized, scarred or linked to a medical condition.
Micropigmentation does not damage existing hair or the hair fiber, and offers a natural, long-lasting result.

Our Protocol.

  • We always start with a free, personalized consultation. This essential step allows us to :

    • Understand your background, expectations and motivations

    • Assess the condition of your scalp (type of alopecia, density, skin condition, any scars)

    • Working together to define the most suitable and natural front line

    • Answer all your questions

    • Create a customized treatment plan

💡 When necessary, a patch test can be offered as a complement. Carried out on a small area, it enables us to check pigment compatibility, adapt the choice of needle and, for sensitive skin or skin with an allergic background, guarantee pigment tolerance.

The cost of this test is €60, corresponding to the time spent, the sterile single-use equipment and the professional pigments used.

  • This first session marks the start of the visible treatment. It takes place in a calm, secure environment, in accordance with the protocol established during the consultation.

     Before starting the session :

    • Together, we validate the area(s) to be treated (top of skull, temples, vertex, scars...).

    • We precisely adjust the hairline if it is to be treated, taking into account your morphology and preferences.

    • I'll explain the different stages of the session so that you're fully informed and at ease.

The session begins with a gentle approach:

    • Application of the first pigment dots with a sterile single-use needle

    • Custom pigments for a discreet, natural look

    • Work with finesse, without overloading, to lay a foundation that will be reinforced in subsequent sessions.

💡 This first session generally lasts between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the surface to be covered. The result is deliberately light to allow a gradual and harmonious evolution.

  • Each complete treatment generally comprises 2 to 3 sessions spaced 10 to 15 days apart:

    • Gradual increase in density

    • Color and shape adjustments if necessary

    • Uniform results

The final result is built by superimposition: natural and without excess.

  • Over time, pigment intensity naturally fades, depending on your skin, sun exposure and lifestyle. To maintain a clean, harmonious and realistic result, a touch-up session is recommended between 2 and 3 years after the initial treatment.

    Session sequence:

    • Evaluation of existing results: together, we observe the evolution of density, shade and hairline.

    • Targeted adjustment of areas that have faded the most, while maintaining overall balance

    • Possibility of slightly redefining certain contours or standardizing the overall look

    • Application of a new coat of pigment, generally in a single session, to revive the look.

This retouching is often quicker than the initial protocol sessions (around 1h30 to 2h), but follows the same quality and hygiene standards.

It's not a question of "starting" the treatment all over again, but rather of subtly refreshing it to prolong its effects naturally over time.
